Derbyshire youngster, Yousaf Bin Naeem, has been called up to the England Young Lions invitational squad for their two-day fixture against Australia and 50-over game against Ireland later this month.
Having starred at the ECB Super Fours, scoring three-consecutive half-centuries as the Midlands team went undefeated to lift the 50-over trophy, Bin Naeem has been selected for the Young Lions, as they warm up for the Youth ODI series against Australia.
The two-day fixture against Australia at Brockington Ground, Loughborough, on Tuesday 22 August, while the 50-over fixture against Ireland takes place at the same venue on Friday 25 August.
The young batter has already shown his red ball credentials this season, scoring a crucial half-century in the second innings of a Second XI fixture against Nottinghamshire to earn victory, while his white ball prowess was on full display during the Super Fours.
