The Blast Off double-header event to kick off the Vitality Blast will return to Edgbaston in 2024, with Derbyshire once again taking centre stage.
The historic first edition of Blast Off took place in May of this year to great success, with a good crowd kicking off the tournament in style, and 2024 is set to be even bigger!
2024’s Blast Off will again see Derbyshire Falcons and Birmingham Bears as the home teams, with their opponents for the double-header to be confirmed.
Derbyshire saw a record Vitality Blast aggregate attendance off the back of Blast Off, as the Falcons entertained crowds at The Incora County Ground and Queen’s Park.
Blast Off 2024 is included in all full 2024 Membership packages (excluding 8 for £80) and Members will be contacted via email with details on how to book their book a ticket for Blast Off. Coach travel will also be provided for Members, with details to be confirmed, following positive feedback from attending Members this summer.
Further details around tickets will be announced soon.
Blast Pass for the 2024 Vitality Blast season is on sale now, as Derbyshire Falcons look to make their mark on the country’s premiere T20 competition once again.
Having narrowly missed out on the quarter-finals in 2023, Mickey Arthur has bolstered the Derbyshire squad, with the arrival of world-class fast bowler, Mohammad Amir, Vitality Blast-winning quick, Pat Brown, and batter David Lloyd, while Wayne Madsen will be looking to replicate the form that saw him equal the world-record for consecutive scores of 50 or more last season.
Blast Pass, which includes a ticket to Blast Off, prices are frozen for renewing holders and those who signed up for the priority window, while they will be priced at just £109 for new buyers during the Early Bird Window.
That means you can enjoy all seven Vitality Blast home games, including local derbies against Yorkshire Vikings and Notts Outlaws, for less in 2024!
