Derbyshire all-rounder, Luis Reece, has been named PCA Player of the Month for September, after an impressive month with the bat.
Alongside winning this award, Reece was named in the PCA MVP Team of the Month for September, after amassing 421 runs and claiming two wickets throughout the month.
The all-rounder won a mammoth 69% of the public vote, beating fellow competitors Sam Robson in second (15%), Liam Dawson and James Vince.
Reece finished the season for Derbyshire in red-hot form, breaking a club record of seven consecutive scores of 50 or more in first-class cricket, as he scored two centuries (139 and 119*) in the final game against Glamorgan, as well as 86 in the previous match versus Sussex.
This accolade completes a fine season for the left-hander, who picked up two club awards at the end of the season, winning Player of the Year and Metro Bank One-Day Cup Player of the Year.
Congratulations, Luis!
