Skilful spinners Nida Sar, made captain in April this year, and Nashra Sandhu have the quality to outfox the best batters in the world. However, the England side could boast players such as Nat Sciver-Brunt and young seamer Mahika Gaur, as well as Derbyshire-born duo Bess Heath and Sarah Glenn.
Derby has been a happy hunting ground in recent years for the English side, who have not lost a WODI fixture at The Incora County Ground since 2017. Sciver-Brunt registered a century in the last match here, as England chased down New Zealand’s target of 245 with three balls remaining.
