Interview: Chappell discusses new deal

Seamer Zak Chappell spoke to Club Media after agreeing a contract extension until 2026.

Chappell, who had a standout debut season at Derbyshire claiming 50 wickets in all formats, including 26 in the Vitality Blast – a club record for a single campaign.

He discusses his impact with the ball last season, as well as his take on the squad for 2024 and the ambitions of the side to be successful across all formats.
