Head of Cricket, Mickey Arthur, previews Derbyshire’s Vitality County Championship opener against Gloucestershire, and outlines his ambitions for the season ahead.
After a busy winter, and an intense pre-season, Arthur believes the squad is ready to show what they can do in all forms of cricket this season, starting with first-class action on home soil.
The Derbyshire Head of Cricket also gives his thoughts on the arrival of New Zealand fast bowler, Blair Tickner, who is available for the game against Gloucestershire after a strong end to the Plunket Shield season with Central Stags.
