Derbyshire batter, Aneurin Donald, has been named in the PCA MVP Men’s Team of the Month for June, after a stellar run of form with the bat in the Vitality Blast.
Donald has struck three half-centuries in five T20 innings for the Falcons, with his first two coming in just 19 balls each, breaking the record for fastest T20 fifty in Club history. The other took just 21 balls, and came in his most recent white ball showing for the Club against Notts Outlaws at Trent Bridge.
The big-hitting batter scored 206 T20 runs during the month of June, equating to 119.06 PCA MVP points, and he will be looking to continue his fine form into July, when the Vitality Blast returns this weekend.
The Blaze are well-represented in the squad, after lifting the Charlotte Edwards Cup at The County Ground, with captain Kathryn Bryce, Sarah Bryce and Heather Graham all recognised among last month’s leading players.
