Interview: Glenn excited for Derbyshire return

Derbyshire-born spinner, Sarah Glenn, is looking forward to making more memories on home soil, when England Women take on West Indies at The County Ground on Friday 30 May.

Glenn is renowned as being one of the finest white ball spinners on the planet and, along with Danni Wyatt-Hodge and Bess Heath, is one of three Derbyshire Women & Girls Pathway alumni in the current England setup.

Ahead of her return to The County Ground, Glenn has spoken about how the passionate support the England team receives at Derby will give the team a boost in May, and she’s looking forward to putting on a show for the fans.

The Early Bird Window for England Women’s Metro Bank One-Day International against West Indies, on Friday 30 May, closes on Wednesday 12 March!

The fixture, which will fall during half-term for local schools, will see the likes of Deandra Dottin, Shemaine Campbelle, Stafanie Taylor and Hayley Matthews represent West Indies in Derby for the first time since the five-match T20 series in the summer of 2020.
