Derbyshire seamer, Muhammad Abbas, has been named in the Pakistan squad for their two-game Test series against Bangladesh next month.
Abbas has claimed six wickets in his first two games for Derbyshire, but will miss the Rothesay County Championship fixtures against Kent, Northamptonshire and Middlesex while on international duty.
The series will give Abbas the chance to add to his 100 Test wickets, with the experienced seamer now also just ten dismissals away from reaching 1,000 across all formats. He is expected to return ahead of the First-class fixture against Durham, starting on Friday 12 June.
The first of the two matches – part of the ICC World Test Championship will be played at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka from 8 to 12 May, while Sylhet International Cricket Stadium will host the second Test which will be played from 16 to 20 May.
