HSG Strengthens Partnership with Derbyshire County Cricket Club

Derbyshire County Cricket Club is proud to announce a new sponsorship agreement with HSG, building on a long-standing working relationship between the two organisations.

Since 2018, HSG has delivered sustainable washroom and environmental solutions at The Central Co-op County Ground through its specialist products Ureco and Uretech, combined with washroom facilities management. This has supported Derbyshire’s commitment to improving environmental performance while enhancing facilities for players, staff, and supporters.

As part of this latest step in the partnership, HSG branding will now feature on the back of Derbyshire’s County Championship shirts for the 2026 season.

Season Launch and Media Day

To mark the announcement, HSG was represented at Derbyshire’s Season Launch Breakfast and Media Day on 2nd April by Joe Rice, Financial Controller, and Steve Mountney, Business Development Manager.

The day began in the hospitality marquee with refreshments, followed by a presentation and Q&A session from the Derbyshire team. Attendees were then invited to watch a catching drill and see the squad in action, before taking part in official team and partner photography sessions, including images showcasing the HSG logo on the back of the County Championship kit.

The event provided a valuable opportunity to connect with the Club ahead of the new season in a relaxed and engaging setting.

Optimism for the Season Ahead

After nearly earning promotion last season, there is real optimism around Derbyshire’s summer ahead.

With marquee signings such as the legendary Muhammad Abbas and England’s Shoaib Bashir, alongside the retention of several of 2025’s standout performers, Derbyshire are set for a strong 2026 campaign.

HSG and Derbyshire County Cricket Club share strong regional ties, making this a natural and collaborative partnership. HSG’s work at the stadium has already delivered measurable environmental benefits, particularly through water-saving and sustainable washroom solutions.

This latest sponsorship reinforces HSG’s commitment to supporting local organisations while continuing to deliver practical, sustainable solutions that make a real difference.
