The Opposition
Northamptonshire have inserted themselves into the promotion picture with an unbeaten start to the season. Their sole victory came over Worcestershire last time out, while draws against Middlesex, Kent and Lancashire have established them as a side who can compete with any in the division.
The ever-dangerous Ben Sanderson is the County Championship’s leading wicket-taker, with 25 dismissals to his name, while James Sales, Nathan McSweeney and Ricardo Vasconcelos each have two centuries to their name this campaign.
