Sign-up for the first Walkers & Talkers Event

The Derbyshire Cricket Foundation will host their first FREE Walkers and Talkers event at The Central Co-op County Ground on Tuesday 26 May (10am start). 

The event is part of our positive mental health strategy for 2026 and is an opportunity for you to enjoy some fresh air and walk at your own pace in the setting of a first-class cricket ground, whether you’d like to attend on your own to meet new people, in a pair or as part of a group. Everyone is welcome!

Former Derbyshire and England cricketer, John Morris, will be the guest speaker at the event, which is a chance for you to connect with fellow cricket lovers, share your stories, update us on your highs or lows of the week, and feel supported.

Walkers and Talkers Event Itinerary: 

10am – 11am: Walk at The Central Co-op County Ground

11am – 12pm: Guest Speaker John Morris, with tea and coffee

Walkers and Talkers events will be hosted monthly, with details of upcoming events to be released in due course.
