We are thrilled to welcome former Derbyshire captain and England international cricketer Geoff Miller to The Central Co-op County Ground on Monday 29 June, for our latest Walkers & Talkers event.
Following the tremendous success of our launch event in May, we are delighted to invite you to register for our June event, which promises an enjoyable blend of light exercise, social interaction, and engaging entertainment.
The first event was hosted by former Derbyshire and England batter, John Morris, with a good time had by all who attended.
The event will begin with an opportunity to connect with fellow attendees during a guided walk around the iconic Central Co-op County Ground, followed by a seated interview and discussion session with our special guest speaker.
Known for his distinguished cricketing career, captivating stories and charismatic personality, Geoff will share insights and anecdotes from his time in the game, making this an event not to be missed.
Derbyshire Cricket Foundation’s Health and Wellbeing Officer, Alex Webster, said: “We have been incredibly grateful for the calibre of guests who have kindly agreed to be our guests of honour for Walkers & Talkers. Following a fantastic session with former Derbyshire batter John Morris at our launch event, we are delighted to welcome Geoff Miller for our June event. His experience, stories and personality will undoubtedly make for a memorable occasion.”
