The 2026 season has brought a new level of excitement to Derbyshire Falcons matchdays at The Central Co-op County Ground, with supporters enjoying an enhanced experience that combines T20 cricket, entertainment, food, drink and a fantastic atmosphere all in one place.

Designed to make matchdays more memorable from the moment supporters arrive, the 2026 Matchday Experience has introduced the new Falcons FanZone – a dedicated space for fans to relax, socialise and enjoy everything that surrounds a Vitality Blast fixture.

The Falcons FanZone has quickly become a key part of the matchday atmosphere, offering live music, additional seating areas and a vibrant social hub where supporters can gather before the action begins and throughout the evening. Whether enjoying the build-up to the first ball, catching up with friends during the innings break or soaking up the atmosphere after the final over, the FanZone adds another dimension to a summer evening at The Central Co-op County Ground.

Live music has also become a key part of the Falcons FanZone experience, with a programme of performances from talented local artists bringing even more energy to matchdays.  The live entertainment provides the perfect soundtrack to a summer evening of Vitality Blast cricket, helping to build the excitement long before the first ball is bowled.

Food and drink have also been central to the enhanced experience, with a wider range of options available for supporters to enjoy throughout the fixture. There will be a wide range of mouth-watering treats available during the remaining fixtures, including Burgers and Loaded Fries, as well as the ever-popular Woodfired Pizza Van and, new for 2026, authentic Indian cuisine. Fans can also enjoy a taste of Mexican Street Food, alongside sweet and savoury waffles and ice cream. For the latest tasty vegetarian and vegan options, supporters can speak to the vendors in the FanZone.
