England Women secured their place in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup semi-finals, after another dominant victory over West Indies at Lord’s.
Danni Wyatt-Hodge moved to the top of the tournament’s run-scoring charts with 65 off 42 balls, which took the Derbyshire Women & Girls’ Pathway graduate’s tally to 193 from her four innings so far.
England set West Indies a target of 187 but held their opponents to just 148-5, with Charlie Dean (2-31) the pick of the bowlers. Sophie Ecclestone, Lauren Bell and Linsey Smith also claimed wickets in the victory.
England are likely to be joined in the semi-finals by Australia, with both sides having won their opening four games, while South Africa, India, Bangladesh, West Indies and New Zealand all vying for the remaining two spots.

Having already done battle at the ICC T20 World Cup, England and Ireland go head-to-head in Metro Bank One-Day International at The Central Co-op County Ground on Thursday 3 September.
