The Metro Bank One-Day Cup returns this July and August!
From Sundays in the school holidays, to our popular Tap Takeover and the return to Repton School, 50-over cricket is back in Derbyshire.

Harry Came has been appointed captain for Derbyshire Falcons Men’s upcoming Metro Bank One-Day Cup campaign.
Came has scored 1,176 List A runs for Derbyshire, including two centuries, and has previous captaincy experience, having led the side in the Rothesay County Championship earlier this season, while Wayne Madsen was sidelined with a shoulder injury.
The Falcons begin their One-Day Cup campiagn tomorrow, taking on a Durham side including Ben Stokes for the first time since stepping down as England Test captain and announcing his international retirement.
With the likes of Wayne Madsen, Martin Andersson and Ben Aitchison all available for the competition, hopes are high the Falcons can challenge for 50-over silverware.
The Durham fixture is the first of four huge 50-over games to take place across Derbyshire throughout the school holidays, with the Falcons heading to Repton School on Friday 31 July, before a pair of Sunday fixtures on the 2nd (Sussex Sharks) and 9th of August (Middlesex, Tap Takeover Fixture)!
50-over cricket is the game’s most complete format, bringing together the big-hitting action of T20 and the enthralling nature of the red ball game to form a full day of fun and a drama, with a result guaranteed!
