Juniors go FREE for Sussex Sharks fixture

Juniors will be given free entry for Derbyshire Falcons Men’s Metro Bank One-Day Cup Fixture against Sussex Sharks at The OurCoop County Ground on Sunday 2 August (11am scheduled start).

This fixture will be the Falcons Club Cricket Day, with Derbyshire County Cricket Club and the Derbyshire Cricket Foundation (DCF) teaming up to ensure local youngsters can enjoy top-class 50-over cricket during the school holidays, by offering free entry to those aged 15 and under.

The DCF will also be distributing 50 pairs of adult tickets to local clubs throughout the Derbyshire Cricket network, to celebrate another successful summer of recreational cricket!

The Club and Foundation are committed to making the game accessible to all throughout the region, through T20 ticket discounts for local clubs and schools, free entry for juniors at all Rothesay County Championship fixtures at Derby and celebrating Falcons Club Cricket Day.

The Metro Bank One-Day Cup kicked off with more than 200 students from six local schools enjoying Derbyshire Falcons Men vs Durham Men, with legends of the game, Wayne Madsen and Ben Stokes, going head-to-head. The students were able to enjoy a sunny day at the cricket, to celebrate the final week of term.
