Montgomery selected as The Hundred replacement player

Derbyshire’s Matthew Montgomery will play for Birmingham Phoenix in The Hundred, after being picked as a replacement player. 

Montgomery, who scored 273 runs and claimed ten wickets in the 2026 Vitality T20 Blast, replaces the injured Ethan Brookes and will no longer be available for the Falcons in the Metro Bank One-Day Cup.
