Pre-Match Pack: Durham (H)

The Falcons Men have named a 14-player squad for their opening Metro Bank One-Day Cup fixture against Durham, tomorrow at The OurCoop County Ground (11am scheduled start).

Shoaib Bashir could be in line for his Falcons List A debut against his former England Test captain, Ben Stokes. Stokes is set to feature for Durham for the first time since retiring from international cricket.

Zak Chappell will miss the early part of the One-Day Cup through a foot issue, while Amrit Basra is sidelined through a broken thumb. Pat Brown (shoulder) and Harry Moore (back) remain long-term absentees.

Luis Reece has been granted compassionate leave due to a family situation, while Caleb Jewell is not contracted to feature in the competition. The Australian batter will return to the Club shortly to begin preparations for the final block of Rothesay County Championship fixtures.
