Jewell to depart after Middlesex fixture

Derbyshire’s overseas batter, Caleb Jewell, will return to Australia after this week’s Rothesay County Championship fixture against Middlesex after being recalled by Cricket Tasmania. 

Jewell, who has featured across all formats for Derbyshire this season, will depart after the fixture at Derby to begin preparations for the Australian domestic season, along with a number of his compatriots in the county game.

The batter has scored more than 2,400 runs across his two spells with the Club, including two centuries and 18 half-centuries.
