Derbyshire Falcons Men captain, Nye Donald, has been called up to the England IT20 squad for the upcoming series against Sri Lanka.
Donald has established himself as one of the most destructive T20 batters in world cricket over the last three seasons by scoring 1,253 Vitality Blast runs since 2024, including 13 half-centuries and striking at over 200.
He equalled the fastest-ever Vitality Blast half-century (13 balls) against Yorkshire in 2025 and his big-hitting extended to the Men’s Hundred this summer, where his rapid-fire knocks helped Trent Rockets to the final.
The former Glamorgan and Hampshire batter could be in-line to make his senior England debut, having previously represented England Under 19s.

“Aneurin has had an exceptional season for Derbyshire in the Vitality Blast and also with Trent Rockets in The Hundred while Henry is a player we have had an eye on all summer.”
