Bess Heath named in England A squads for tour of India

Derbyshire Women & Girls Pathway graduate, Bess Heath, has been named in all three squads for an England A tour to India.

Heath will feature across all three formats, with the trip to India taking place across November and December.

On the back of winning the Hundred with Trent Rockets this summer and reaching Finals Day in the Vitality Blast with Durham, Heath has a chance to showcase her talent on the international stage ahead of an Ashes summer in 2027.

Head Coach Jon JJ Lewis said: “The selection for A squads is often about the bigger picture and getting ready for challenges further down the line.

“These squads have an element of that, but are more about the players who are considered the next in line for the senior England teams, as well as the players who are looking to establish themselves in those teams.”

Fellow Pathway graduate, Sarah Glenn, will spend the winter Down Under in the WBBL, playing for Brisbane Heat.
