Donald selected for England IT20 tour of Australia

Derbyshire Falcons Men captain, Nye Donald, has been called up to the England IT20 squad for the upcoming series against Australia.

Having made three apperances for the side against Sri Lanka in September, Donald retains his place in the squad for his first overseas tour in England colours.

Donald continued his aggressive style in his maiden IT20 series, striking at 191.66, with 4 fours and 2 sixes across the three games.

With Jos Buttler unavailable for the tour due to injury, Donald will have a new opening partner at the top of the order and could line up with fellow Welshman, Phil Salt.

The T20 series will be preceeded by three ODIs in Australia, as well as an ODI tri-series against Pakistan and Sri Lanka later this month.
