Derbyshire have named a 13-player squad for the Rothesay County Championship fixture against Middlesex at Lord’s, starting tomorrow (11am).
Mickey Arthur’s side claimed their first win of the season last time out, led by a stellar batting performance which saw Derbyshire pile on more than 600 runs before bowling Northamptonshire out twice.
Martin Andersson and Brooke Guest each scored centuries in the innings victory, while Ben Aitchison, Rory Haydon, Zak Chappell and Shoaib Bashir all made crucial contributions with the ball, with the latter being rewarded for his good form with a call-up to the England Test side.

The Opposition
Middlesex are second in the Division Two table after picking up a comprehensive win over Lancashire last time out.
Former Derbyshire and current Middlesex captain, Leus du Plooy, has scored 415 runs and is averaging 50 for season, while Ryan Higgins (23) and Toby Roland-Jones (18) have already combined for more than 40 wickets.
